Great location to stay in the keys. Hotel is right on the water ocean side with great view and nice grounds. Good room size, but cramped bathroom. . Overall very good for the price.
Very uncomfortable bed, tv picture and broken siding glass door.

It is all about the view! Located on the beach with docks to admire sunrise/sunset. Good quality towels and sheets.When we called that we could arrive a day early, we made arrangements easily for the extra day.
Plastic chairs are less sturdy although practical in the climate. Windows had no screens, and weather was perfect for opening windows.

Very close to the beach. Great location in key west. Annette's lobster & steak house was delicious and is very close by

The setting was beautiful
The hotel needed renovating. It was very dated and the shower was grim to say the least!

Sea Shell was what we were looking for. An affordable weekend in the keys. Staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms are basic, and that is what we expected for the price. Mattress could be updated, but was comfortable. The view Sea Shell provides is the reason to stay there. Grounds were wonderful. Star filled nights and great sunrise and sunset views. Would stay there again. Would recommend.

We did not like anything about the room. It was not as pictured. We stayed 1 of the 5 nights and left. I specifically stated I needed a 1st floor rm and was put on the 2nd fl. With 2 flights of steps. Old accommodations, loud air conditioner, impossible furniture arrangement to watch tv. Old worn bedspreads. Nothing was as advertised.
